Tyres, elastic other than pneumatic ; felloes or rims.-A number of metal springs of concave, convex, or other form are attached to a rim f, preferably by tongues d engaging with the inside thereof, and tongues c passing through slots e therein ; brazing or other means of attachment may, however, be employed. In the form shown, the springs are provided with outwardly-turned flanges a adapted to receive a tyre which is secured by clips n passing through holes b. In a modification, the outside edges of the springs are turned inwards, and in another form they have no flanges. Portions may be cut away from the springs. The springs are made by rolling, stamping, or other processes.
