Abstract
16,935. Wale, A. E. July 17. Saddles are constructed with covers formed partly of leather and partly of woven wire fabric. The ordinary leather cover A of a saddle is cut away in the centre and replaced by a panel B of woven wire, preferably formed as described in Specification No. 20,826, A.D. 1891. The panel B may be divided along the centre to prevent perineal pressure, or two panels may be used. Or the leather cover may be cut away so as to leave only pieces, at the cantle and pommel respectively, to which the woven wire is attached.
