Abstract
11,820. Baker, G. S., [Delacre et fils]. May 12. Ovens; biscuits. -Relates to ovens and apparatus for making wafers &c. The oven, which is heated by gas, is preferably made of sheet iron and divided into compartments each serving to receive a wafer mould and carriage. Fig. 5 shows a section. The gas pipes e are arranged at top and bottom of each chamber. The moulds are formed of metal plates p, p<1> hinged together and pivoted at o, o' to the cross-bars n, n' on the carriage. The carriage m, Fig. 7, is fitted with wheels which run on rails at the side and front. The mould is secured when closed by handles s, s<1> which are passed beneath lugs t, t<1> on the carriage.
