6392. Wood, F. E. March 11. Inflating.-Relates to a combined pump and velocipede stand. A hollow standard c is mounted on a base a<1> and has a pump worked by the handle q and fitted with an inflator tube o arranged inside it. The bicycle is held in hooks h, h, and in a fork l carried by a cross-bar a secured to the standard c by a clip r tightened by a screw k and nut j operated by the hand grip i. In a modification, the pump is dispensed with, and the standard c may be made telescopic, in which case, the cross-bar a is pivoted near the top of the sliding part.
