Phonographs.-Acoustic trumpets E are attached to the reproducer C by a flexible joint D, the trumpet being supported by trunnions f in a stirrup F held rotatably in a vertical tube G attached to the sliding rod H. The trumpet is described as applicable to that class of phonograph described in Specification No. 23,366, A.D. 1893, but is also applicable to other cylindrical and disc instruments. When desired, a series of two or more trumpets fitting one into the other may be arranged, each trumpet being supported on a separate universally-jointed stand.
