Abstract

189,564. Straker, M. Sept. 7, 1921. Coverings and casings for protecting wearing apparel from dust ; wardrobes. - A folding collapsable and portable wardrobe comprises upper and lower collapsable frames 7, 8, 23, 24 hingedly connected together by a ridge-pole 11, and by stop links 25, 26. The upper frames are suspended by hooks 15, 16, stops 13, 14 causing them to assume the shape of a ridge roof, while a dust-proof envelope, shaped to fit the frames 7, 8 and suspended therefrom, is held open by the lower frames 23, 24 which are inserted while folded and then opened out. The front of the envelone is formed with an opening and with a detachable curtain or closure. A clothes hanger 18 is suspended by links from the pole 11.
