Bale-tie fasteners.- Relates to bale-tie fasteners for connecting the overlapping ends of bale-ties with longitudinally aligned slots at the ends. The fastener comprises a piece of stout wire of which the end portions 6 are bent laterally of its length so that after being inserted, as in Fig. 6 in two pairs of registering slots 4, 5 in the overlapping ends 2, 3 of the ties, the fastener can be turned into the position shown in Figs. 5 and 7, so that the terminal parts lie transversely below the lower of the overlapping ends. A tool may be inserted beneath the part 8 for removal of the fastener.
