Geared pulleyhoists. - The driving wheel 2 of a pulley-hoist of the type shown is enclosed in a casing 1 having openings 8 for the passage of the chain. The casing may be secured to the main frame 4 by lugs 5 and screws 6, or may be mounted on the axle 7 and retained thereon by a nut.
