Jewellery padlocks.-A bracelet &c. padlock of the kind comprising a divided bow, one part of which is fixed and the other pivoted and connected with a lever arm acted upon by a spring to close the bow, is provided with locking means. These comprise an arm 14 on a spindle 13 carrying an operating handle 12 outside the casing 5, which arm can be moved into engagement with a notch 9<a> of the spring 9 which acts on the arm 8 to move the pivoted part 7 of the bow into closed position.
