Abstract

Trousers; legs; creases, form. ing by cord and grooved board. -A device for forming and retaining creases in trousers consists of a board a having a longitudinal groove b. The trousers, inside out, are placed over the board and pressed into the groove by a cord c fixed at one end d of the board and held at the other end by means of a bradawl, or clamp e of ordinary construction. The cord is pressed in by a heated iron. A narrow strip of fabric g<1> which may have straight or serrated edges, is coated with adhesive at each side, and pressed to the cloth by a heated iron, after which the cord is withdrawn.
