Abstract

187,182. Lupton, W. B. April 6, 1922. Paperhangers' tools. - A tool for cutting and trimming paper, of the type which comprises a plate 1 having one or more longitudinal grooves on its surface and a handle for supporting the plate, has the handle fixed to the plate by a removable pivot joint 12 so that the position of the handle may be varied. Lugs on the head of the handle bear against the edge of the securing plate 6 for the two positions of the handle, which is provided with a spiked end 9 to engage the floor. The face of the plate may be divided to form a measuring rule.
