Abstract

186,125. Miller, C. A., and Miller, F. J. June 16, 1921. Vehicle lamps. - An acetylene rear-lamp for vehicles comprises a base plate b<1> carrying the burner c and to which the body a is hinged at d, the base plate being formed with a bracket arm b<4> terminating in a flange adapted to be secured to the number-plate of the vehicle or in a clip for attaching to the back stay of a cycle. The body is cylindrical in shape, is provided with a red glass g at the rear and a clear side glass f for illuminating the number-plate and is further provided with a clasp e adapted to engage a tongue b<3> on the base plate for maintaining the lamp in the closed position.
