Abstract
182,746. Janecek, F. Aug. 24, 1921. Ordnance design.-A tube 3 for discharging grenades 2 is made with a longitudinal groove 5 terminating in a shoulder 6 opposite a cutaway portion 7 of the nozzle of the tube. A projection 4 on the base of the grenade is guided by the groove 5 and strikes the shoulder 4, whereupon the projection 4 is deflected laterally and a rotation is imparted to the grenade about a transverse axis.
