Sound-directing appliances. - A gramophone casing has two or more horns mounted therein, and a valve is provided whereby any horn can be placed in connection with the tone arm. Fig. 1 shows a flap valve 9 movable by a lever 11 to connect either horn 7 or 8 with the tone arm 5. Fig. 2 shows a sliding valve 22 movable by a rod 29 to connect either horn 18 or 19 with the tone arm extension 27.
