182,395. Naamlooze Vennootschap A. Jurgens' Margarine-fabrieken. Nov. 3, 1921, [Convention date]. Addition to 172,017. Packeting by wrapping-up.-Relates to the wrapping-machines described in the parent Specification and consists in substituting an intermittently rotating carrier for the hinged slide that transfers the partly-wrapped article from the upper to the lower slide. A block 1 of butter arrives from the upper slide on to a surface 2 mounted on a wheel 10 and actuates a bell-crank lever 4, 5 to make contact between the parts 7, 8. An electric circuit is closed and a magnet is energized to withdraw a pin from a socket 9, and the weight of the article rotates the wheel until the end 6 of the lever making the contact has passed the ends of the parts 7, 8. The circuit is broken and the pin falls into the following socket 9, stopping the wheel. The next surface 2 is then in position to receive another article and the previous one is discharged by gravity into the lower slide.
