Lids and covers.- The shouldered collar c of a tin or like container is formed with one or more preferably trough-shaped indentations d, the flange e of the lid having similar projections f of smaller size. The lid is applied to the 'tin with the parts d, f registering and is given a turn relatively to the body to effect a tight fit.
