Abstract
182,274. Spencer, I. C. May 20, 1921. Sights.-A foresight has a number of interchangeable beads formed as plugs adapted to fit into a longi, tudinal tubular socket. One of the plugs may have a luminous head. In the construction shown, the body 1 of the sight has a tubular socket 3 extending from back to front, the plug in use being inserted at the rear, and a spare plug in front. A second spare plug is inserted in another socket 4 at the front. One cf the plugs has a luminous head 11, Fig. 2, and the others are reversible to form beads of different colours or sizes. Below the sighting - bead are @ots 13, Fig. 2, of different colours for use at different ranges, the bead in each case being aligned on the target, and the backsight on the appropriate dot.
