Vaporizing - apparatus. -A vapour lamp regulator comprises a sleeve A having radial heatdispersing gills B and a set-screw C whereby its contact with and position along the length of the vaporizing tube may be varied. The regulator disperses more heat the better its contact and the nearer it is placed to the burner, thus lowering the temperature of the vaporizing-tube and consequently reducing the rate of vaporization of the fuel and the heat and light given off at the burner.
