Abstract

181,251. Bonell, H., Bonell, E. T., and Lee, D. July 9, 1921. Double and multiple hinges. - A concealed hinge for motor-vehicle doors and other members comprises two separate blocks or plates 1, 2, each having two sets of bosses 3, 4 to receive pins for links 5, 6 of unequal length, the links being disposed within the bounding surfaces of the plates. The plates are recessed or slotted to accommodate the links, and preferably also the bosses, when closed. The hinge pins may be removable, and the plates are let into the door and support. Specification 2234/09 is referred to.
