Abstract

181,242. Merchant, A. June 15, 1921. Stands or supports for vehicles comprise a strut formed with a shoe pivotally attached to the axle and with a flat base merging at each side into a curved track. The strut is preferably pivotally secured by pin 9 to a clip 7 permanently attached to the axle. The flat base may be fitted with castors or balls 11 in order to permit the jack to move freely across the ground. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 17558/11, 13370/12, 19814/12, 116,186, and 158,049.
