Fuse-boards. - Distribution fuse-boards and boxes having a series of fuses mounted upon carriers have provision to enable the carriers to be turned or partially turned in such a manner as to give access to the terminals and the busbar. As applied to an ironclad board sheet-metal carriers c, which may be as described in Specification 162,449, have side members d comprising trunnions g and slotted or perforated cranked ends d<1>. The trunnions engage upwardly directed slots f<2> in members f sliding upon rods e, preferably of square section, fixed to the base of the fuse-box. The carrier with its fuses can therefore be drawn forward and turned so that the upper or lower ends of the fuses are presented outwardly. In the rearmost position of the carrier the slots or perforations in the side members d take over screwed pins e<1> on the rods e where they may be secured by nuts k. The ends of the rods e may be connected by a bar m which may support the insulating partition or partitions n and carry turn buttons t retaining in position a strip u of insulating material as described in Specification 900/15.
