Abstract

179,454. Allwright, P. June 14, 1921. Letter-boxes.-Letter-box plates are mounted on one or more internally-threaded members 7 which engage screws 9 operated by knobs &c, 13 so that they may be advanced from the door surface for cleaning. Axial displacement of the screw is prevented by a shoulder 10 on the screw and a plate 11 screwed to the back of the door 12.
