Belts.-A link belt comprises stamped metal links a with lugs e gripping blocks b of vulcanite or wood fibre, leather, or like materials, and with hooked lugs c connected together by metal links d. The links d and openings f are proportioned so that connection or disconnection can take place between them only when their relative positions are as shown in Fig. 4. When the blocks b are made of laminated material the several thicknesses are held together by hollow rivets h.
