Abstract

175,110. St. Pierre, H. Nov. 24, 1920. Chain couplings.-In a non-skid device for wheel tyres, one end of each side-chain is connected to a hook 8, and the other end to a rackbar 14 adapted to be passed through a box 10 carried by the hook 8. A pin 15 guided in a slot 16 in the box 10 co-operates with the rack 14. The pin 15 is carried by a slide 17, and is normally held in the bottom of the groove 16 by means of a spring fitted within the slide.
