Abstract

172,348. Polak, M. June 30, 1920. Systems, electric.-A condenser c is placed in shunt with the sparking-plugs z and the distributor b, v. One terminal of the condenser is grounded. The other may be connected to a ring f which is mounted in the stationary part of the distributor and is permanently in engagement with the rotary brush b. In other constructions, the condenser itself is mounted in either the stationary or rotary part of the distributor, or in the case of a magneto having stationary coils it may be mounted on the armature.
