Feeding-appliances for animals.-A feeding- appliance for supplying dry-mash or grain to poultry comprises a hopper a in front of which is formed a trough c the back and bottom of the hopper and trough being formed of one piece of flexible material d, so that when the birds peck at the bottom of the trough the movement of the material d, allows food to pass from the hopper a beneath the front i into the trough c. The height of the bottom edge of the front j may be regulated by a slide. A member g slides up to the outside of the trough c ta form a second trough to catch food d-ropped by the birds. Instead of the member g, a partition may be placed in the trough c to divide it into two parallel troughs. A grid f attached to the lid e fits over the trough when the lid is closed. According to the Provisional Specification, instead of the flexible bottom a rocking bottom may be employed.
