Abstract
169,619. Major, J. Sept. 11, 1920. Spoons and ladles.-A spoon is formed with a bowl a having outwardly extending flanges b, c for facilitating stirring and for scraping pans, and is provided with apertures f on one side of the bowl through which apertures is drained the superfuous liquid of a sample to be tasted or tested. When liquids are to be tasted, the bowl is tilted so that the liquid is retained in the unperforated portion. The bowl is preferably of aluminium and provided with a socket d in which the handle e is secured. The handle and bowl may be integrally formed.
