Keys. - A key for lever locks is flat and is stamped from sheet metal, having a bow 3 at one end and a laterally-projecting part at the other end, which is filed into the shape of bits. The shank 1 is flat, so that a round keyhole is unnecessary, and the part between the bits 2 and bow 3 is as short as possible. The edges 4 are rounded to facilitate the operation of the key and to avoid wearing out the pocket.
