Drawer-and-shell cases; cases made from special blanks.-An open-ended holder or case for a drawer-and-shell cigarette packet is made. from a blank of metal or other rigid material, assembled by soldering or other suitable means. The shoulders 7 flanging the finger-opening 13 may be shaped as shown, or may be made wider and formed with curved edges to afford a smaller lozenge-shaped opening. One or more inwardlyprojecting edges or shoulders may be provided at the open end 11 to form stops for preventing the outer part or shell of the packet from being pushed out accidentally along with the drawer. A circular opening for showing the trade-mark &c. on the shell of the cigarette-packet may be made in the top 4 of the case.
