Shuttles.-In shuttles of the kind claimed in the parent Specification, unthreading is prevented by forming the slit A towards the back of the shuttle and inclining it forwardly towards the tunnel B, the entrance to the tunnel being guarded by an eyelet C, which crosses the slit and has a slot c for the weft. The entrance to the slit A is screened by a wooden peg D.
