Abstract

166,093. Joannides, C. Dec. 31, 1919. Teeth, artificial.-Pink rubber to form the exposed gum portion of a vulcanite denture is applied to the teeth and wax model previous to the flasking operation. The pink rubber in a tough or partly vulcanized form is kneaded into the spaces between the teeth by hand or by means of hot instruments. The case is then flasked and the base rubber forming the palate is packed by the injection process. The pink rubber may be reinforced by the incorporation of fibres of cotton, silk, asbestos, paper &c. Specification 22624/01 is referred to.
