Shaft couplings.-A shaft coupling, collar, or washer which may be readily assembled comprises two complementary members a, b adapted to overlap laterally at their meeting ends. Each member is cut away or stepped at d, and pins g are provided on one of the members to engage in corresponding holes f on the other. One member is secured to the shaft by means of a set-screw fitted to a hole as indicated on the member a. Both members may be secured to a shaft when used as a shaft coupling, and neither when used as a washer.
