Trouser-stretchers.-A stretcher, for insertion in the legs of trousers, comprises two plates a, b, formed with a knife-edge on their outer sides and shaped to conform to the back and front creases respectively. The plates are operated by right and left handed screw-threaded spindles d, d, provided with central collars d<1> and adapted to engage in nuts c pivoted at c<1> to the plates a, b. To prevent injury to the cloth, the knife edges are broadened and rounded off at a', a<1>, b<1>, b<1>, as shown.
