Abstract

164,587. Chapin, E. I., Baker, F. E., and Chapi.n & Baker Manufacturing Co., Inc. April 28, 1920. Drills and cutters.-In a drill or cutter particularly adapted for counter-boring, spot-facing, &c., a short cutting-section 7 is secured to a shank 1 by a longitudinal bolt, the shank having a transverse opening for the nut. The cutting-section has radial recesses to receive radial projections on the holder to prevent relative rotation and the head 11 of the bolt serves as a pilot.
