Abstract

161,478. Landry, W. J. June 30, 1920. Coat and like hangers. - Cards or labels are applied to garment-hangers, of the kind having shoulder supports 3, upon a central projection 2 which extends upwardly so that a view of the label is not obstructed by the garment. The labels are secured either by a separate holder 9 secured to the projection 2, or by insertion in recesses in the projection, or by tacks or adhesive. The surface of the projection may be angular as shown, or flat. A stay 4 supports the shoulder support 3, and a bar 6 is pivoted at 5 to the stay for clamping trousers &c. thereto, the free end of the bar 6 being secured by a socket 7 slidable on the stay.
