Abstract
157,970. Bosselmann, R. Dec. 27, 1918, [Convention date]. Automatic gear for supplying steam for heating purposes. Steam coming from a high-pressure cylinder is divided and passes by branches controlled by valves d<2>, d<1> to the low-pressure cylinder and the heating system respectively. Under normal load, both valves are in their central position and fully open. The valves are moved by an oil-actuated piston k through lever-mechanism m provided with a weight o. The oil to the cylinder is controlled jointly by valves i, h connected respectively to a diaphragm m and to the rod of the piston k through lever-mechanism which is adjusted to vary the sensitiveness of the apparatus. The pressure in the branches affects the diaphragm through a duplex manometer s<1>, s<2>.
