157,020. Wallgren, G. A. F., and Uggla, W. R. April 9, 1920. Securing together machine element parts for the transmission of rotary motion.-A resilient toothed wheel for use in gearing for electric motors, turbines, &c., of the kind in which several wheels are in gear with a driving-pinion is provided with spokes 7, consisting of plate springs and other spokes 10, which are either rigid or slightly ressilient and are connected either to the boss 6 or rim 5, engaging the other part loosely to maintain the concentricity of the wheel. Extensions 11 of the spokes 10 form abutments limiting the action of the springs 7, or abutmente may be formed on the rim 5. The springs 7 can yield in either direction.
