Abstract

157,014. Richardson, J. March 19. 1920. Hooks fixed to flat surfaces.-A rack or support for neck-ties &c. comprises a board on which a number of hooks are pivoted with the axes of their pivots parallel but at such angle in relation to the length of the board that by sloping the board the axes become vertical and the hooks assume steplike positions. Fig. 1 shows the hooks b attached to the board a by means of the plates c. The hooks are of wire formation and of a spring-like nature, the ends being bent over at d to engage holes in the plates c. Each plate c has two recesses e, to hold the hook in its extended position, and the turned edges f adapted to retain the hook in the folded position.
