Telephone systems.- In a system for the inductive distribution of phonograph reproductions or speech in hospitals &c., a number of microphones 20 are arranged around a tube 18 into which the sound waves are passed either from the tone-arm 15 of a phonograph 12 or from a horn into which speech is directly uttered. The microphones 20 are arranged in separate circuits connected by a common transformer 30 to the transmitting circuit 38.
