Rolling-machines. - A dough-rolling machine comprises a rotary inverted conical casing 13 driven through gearing 15, 14, within which is arranged a helical fence 24 secured by arms 27 to a fixed shaft 11. The lower end of the fence terminates in a semicircular member 25 which rests upon the bottom of the casing and is formed with upright flutes. Dough is fed in through a shoot 30, adjustably secured to the shaft 11 by a screw 32, and the rounded dough portions are delivered to a table 34. The interior of the casing 13 is fluted, preferably by a spiral thread, and the fence is built up of sections, which are roughened with the exception of the uppermost. A helical scraper or knife is secured to the loweredge of the fence.
