Abstract
In the instrument, the boron density is measured automatically and continuously by determining the conductivity of a mixture of a boric acid sample water and a mannite solution. The temperature of the mixture flowing through is registered by a temperature-sensitive element (18). This is connected in a measuring circuit (14) of an instrument (16) for measuring the electric conductivity, which circuit is connected to a conductivity-measuring electrode (12). This arrangement corrects any errors in the conductivity measurement, which are caused by variations in the temperature of the mixture flowing through. <IMAGE>
