Abstract

A fuel comprises 35-70 parts of finely pulverized coal, coke, or other carbonaceous matter stabilized in 65-30 parts of oil or other liquid hydrocarbon by treating the mixture for 1-2 hrs. in cross-pounding or other mills having a speed of at least 1000 metres per second. The process is accelerated by adding 1-3 per cent of soap solution or rubber solution or other colloid to the mixture.
