Abstract
In the bearing, which is in the form of a multi-face sliding bearing, for example in the case of a planetary gear mechanism, the bearing journal (4) is manufactured from steel and has the shape of the multi-face sliding bearing. The bore of the planet gear (8) surrounding the journal is lined with a material (9) which has good anti-friction properties and a higher coefficient of thermal expansion than the other parts of the planet gear. This reduces the risk that the bearing will seize. <IMAGE>
