Abstract

1537063 Knitting SAINT JULIAN ETAB 23 Dec 1975 [30 May 1975 15 July 1975] 52554/75 Heading D1K Seamless legged garments are knit on a circular machine using continuous rotary motion throughout wherein after knitting the first leg a first intermediate portion 4 is formed with interrupted courses and an elastic waistband portion 5 and the second intermediate portion 4' is knitted onto portion 4, the joining of the edges of portions 4, 4' preferably being strengthened by held loops on needles T or additionally by needles intermediate needles T continuing to knit to form small joined borders (a, a' in Fig. 6 (not shown)).
