Abstract
1537012 Piezo-electric vibrators DAINI SEIKOSHA KK 27 Jan 1977 [29 Jan 1976] 03355/77 Heading H1E A piezo-electric vibrator 1, preferably of rectangular form, has at least one corner 11 rounded or bevelled and is mounted, preferably on a spring support 2, in a sealed evacuated casing 3, so that if subjected to a shock which might cause the corner 11 to strike the casing, damage will be minimized. The corner may have a part-circular shape, a 45 degree bevelled surface, or several bevelled faces 9 at an angle. Vibrator materials mentioned are quartz and lithium tantalate.
