Abstract

1536927 Transceivers THOMSON-CSF 19 July 1976 [21 July 1975] 30043/76 Heading H3A In a transceiver including an antenna 301, a microwave oscillator 302 and a mixer 306, the centre frequency of the mixer output signal is stabilized by a main control circuit including a controlled generator 303 having a nominal frequency F and a comparator 305-309 providing indicative of the phase difference between signals derived from the mixer and generator outputs and is applied to a control input of the oscillator and an auxiliary control circuit 1306-1309 mixes the antenna received signal with a multiple of the generator 303 output frequency and controls the generator frequency via control devices 320, 321. The control device 320 may be a phase comparator or an envelope detector as in Fig. 3 (not shown). The oscillator 302 may be modulated by a signal applied at 313.
