Abstract

1536783 Vehicle roof racks A WOLF 29 March 1976 [9 Sept 1975] 12531/76 Heading B7J A roof rack includes lazy tong side members 4, 5 and transversely adjustable support members 8 whereby the roof rack may be adapted to fit vehicles of different sizes. Crossbars 6 are attached to the lower pivots of the lazy tongs and inverted U-shaped members 1, 2 form the end pieces. The support members 8 are independently adjustable transversely of the rack on the outermost crossbars 6, the latter being pivotally mounted on the lazy tongs whereby the support members 8 may be adjusted to fit a curved roof.
