Abstract

1536424 Floor jacks D G GODFREY and G D WHITEHEAD 16 Jan 1976 [17 Jan 1975] 2222/75 Heading B8J [Also in Division E1] A floor support jack has a head 3 with projection and socket locating engagement of non-circular cross-section with co-operating corner members 6 adapted to be fitted to the underside of floor panels 5 at adjacent corners thereof. As shown the head 3 has slots 31 arranged to receive projections 61 on plates 6. Height adjustment is by screw 10 and nut 40 and this may be locked by a lock-nut (not shown) or by adhesive to bond the nut 40 to the screw 10.
