Abstract

1533588 Flues for muffle furnaces REFRACTORY SERVICES INTERNATIONAL Ltd 9 Dec 1975 [9 April 1975 4 June 1975] 14482/75 and 24036/75 Headings F4B and F4J A flue for a muffle-type series fired furnace for heat treatment is assembled from interfitting parts 80, 81 and 82 that are individually cast in refractory concrete. When the parts are assembled together they make up a flue with two side walls 91AB and 92AB, two end walls 89AB and 90AB, a bottom wall 86 and a flue cap 84. In addition there is a central baffle 94AB and between the central baffle and each of the end walls there is other means such as the baffles 93AB and 95AB tying the side walls together.
