1532538 Analogue-to-digital conversion MARCONI CO Ltd 6 April 1977 [31 July 1976] 32023/76 Heading H3H A D.C. voltage at terminal 1 is digitized to high accuracy (e.g. 19-bit word with Π5 bits error) using a lower accuracy A-to-D converter 2 (e.g. 8 bits) and an accumulating loop 3-4-5 (e.g. for 2048 samples). An A.C. ripple may be applied at terminal 10 to improve error compensation.
